Dominic is 18 months old!

Dominic had his 18 month well baby check up today and here is how he measured up:
height 34 inches (90%)
weight 23.12 lbs (24%)
head 19 inches (80%)
He hasn't gained any weight by he got almost 2 inches taller since his last appt at 15 months.
His vocabulary is growing everyday. He will try to repeat everything to ask him to say and it is so cute because it doesn't always come out the right way.
He is a very picky eater - no milk, no meat, no veggies, no toast, no pancakes, no PB&J, etc....
He likes pasta, yogurt, cheese, crackers, and fruit. We are hoping he starts eating better soon. It would make life a lot easier. He doesn't have to go back until he is 2 and that is great b/c he hates going into the doctors office. He cried from the moment we walked into the room until we left the office. It was quite an ordeal.

Lipstick Anyone

While I was in the shower the other morning Dominic found some lipstick to get into. As you can see by the pictures he can apply it quite well (haha). He was dipping his finger into the tube and then applying it to his face. It was so funny that I ran straight for the camera to document his findings.

New Due Date

...well it's not new...it's the original due date of August 5th. So it looks like baby Zezini could be making an appearance at the end of July since I will be having a scheduled c-section :) The appointment went well and we got to see the baby again via an ultrasound. It was amazing! We could see arms and legs and lots of kicking and eye rubbing. He/she was quite spunky, in fact, I even had to go back the next day because the baby wasn't cooperating for the ultrasound technician - he/she was not in the proper position to see what needed to be seen. Well we only have 6 short weeks left and then we can find out if we are having a boy or girl :) We are so excited!!

Dominic's First Haircut!

Here is Dominic's first professional haircut. He didn't want to sit in the chair by himself so he sat on daddy's lap. He was still not sure so we gave him a snack and that seemed to help. After his cut he got a lollipop and he was so happy!
