Warning ------ Cuteness Ahead ------

Dominic is so cute!! These pictures were taken last week by our awesome photographer!! Allison Stahl (www.allisonstahl.com) does the best work. She did our wedding photos and ALL the photos of Dominic.

Look at those teeth! His 4th tooth finally broke through yesterday. Yes I know, he is almost 15 months and he only has 2 teeth fully in and 2 on the way down.

I love these pictures!! I am so glad that I will have these pictures for the rest of my life and I can always look back at my sweet boy since he is growing up so fast!

Laura and Dan's Wedding

My cousin Laura got married this weekend in Nevada City. She was such a beautiful bride! It was a great wedding! They got married at a summer camp called Camp Augusta. We had planned to camp in a tent with Dominic for the first time but....it was FREEZING! So we packed up and headed home after Dominic had too much dancing and passed out. Thanks to the Shadys & O'Dairs for putting on a great wedding.

Our wonderful Winston

Today is the 2 year anniversary of Winston's departure from this earth. For those of you who knew him, knew what a great dog he was and knew how special he was to us. Winston was such a great doggie. We loved him so much. Not a day goes by that John and I don't think of him. We often reminisce of times we shared with our Winston. He was 16 years old when he died and he spent the last 6 of his years with us - the best years of his life! We spoiled Winston to no end and always adjusted our lives around him. I know that may sound crazy to some of you but Winston was basically our first child - he was as much a part of our family as anyone.

Just this side of heaven

is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

We spent this past weekend in Lake Tahoe in Incline Village with my family. We all had a great time! This was Dominic's first time touching the sand on the beach. It was very cold and windy when we were down by the water but Dominic didn't care -- HE LOVED IT!!

Peace

Lamaze BBQ

Saturday we hosted the "Lamaze BBQ" for this month. We have kept in contact with 5 other couples and their children, all of whom are within 4 weeks of Dominic's age. It is so fun to watch all these beautiful babies grow up!! Can you all believe our "babies" are over a year old!! Here is a picture of the kids...
