Olivia's 1st and Dominic's 3rd Birthdays
WOW! Where has the time gone? Last weekend we celebrated the kids b-days with one BIG party at the Zezini house. Everyone had a great time and we are so thankful for our beautiful children and loving family and friends! Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate!
The kids had their 12m and 36m check ups on the 9th and here are their stats:
Olivia was 21.10 lbs (65%) and 32 inches TALL (100%+)
Dominic was 32.2 lbs (65%) and 38.5 inches tall (65%)
Olivia is learning new things everyday and we are loving to watch her grow each day. She still has NO teeth but manages to eat anything I give her. I take her to the Little Gym once a week and she loves it!! She is so friendly and outgoing :) She has such an adorable personality!
Dominic is now going to preschool 3 days a week and is having a great time. He is going through so kind of separation issues with me right now. All he wants is Mommy all the time!! Nothing has changed with him or the household so I am not sure what the neediness is attributed to (I am guessing it is the normal ups and down of toddlerhood).

Olivia is 9 months old!!!
I can't believe Olivia is already 9 months old. My little baby is turning into a toddler right before my eyes. I haven't had much time to update my blog - or do much of anything else except to care for my kids and husband :-)
Olivia had her 9 moth check up last week and she continues to blossom. She is 30.5 inches tall (OVER 100%), 19.13 lbs (75%), and has a head circumference of 45 (75%).
Since her 2 month check up she has been over 100% for height!! At nine months she is 1/2 inch taller than Dominic was !!
Dominic is doing very well in preschool now - he doesn't cry anymore. He is loving his new friends and comes home each day with something new to share with me and John. He does a craft project everyday and that is his favorite part! Then Daddy takes them to his office and shows them off on his wall. In June Dominic is going to start going 3 days a week instead of 2 days a week that he is going now.
I am enjoying my time with Olivia while he is away so we have some one on one time and she can crawl freely without her big brother all over her. Soon I am going to enroll her in a mommy and me class so I can get out with her and have some fun! Probably the little gym or tricks.
The summer is fast approaching and we are looking forward to spending some much needed time with our friends! Maybe John and I can sneak in some time for just the 2 of us too :)

Grandpa West (Newrug)

My Grandpa was such a great guy. I will miss him each and every day.
He will be laid to rest tomorrow afternoon in Grass Valley. It will be a sad day but a day that will be filled with fond memories of my Grandpa as we celebrate his life.
Grandpa...you were everything a man should be; a great provider for your family with such strength and heart, the best Grandfather a little girl could ask for. It was an honor to be a part of your life. I loved listening to all your stories and that is something that I will cherish forever. I know you are in a better place right now and without pain. I will do my best to look out for Grandma for you until she is in your arms again. ♥♥♥ I love you ♥♥♥

Update
Time is just flying by! Dominic is now 2.5 and Olivia is 6 months already! How did 1/2 a year go by that fast - - oh yeah, I know, LACK OF SLEEP!!!
Little miss Olivia has stopped being a good sleeper - she has decided to take after Dominic and wake me up every 2 hours (or less)!! Oh well, what's a Mommy to do?
Dominic on the other hand is finally(!) sleeping thru the night in his OWN bed! He does make his way to Mommy and Daddy's bed once in a while but not every night like he use to.
Olivia had her 6 month check up on Monday and is doing great. She was 16 lbs 15 oz and 28 inches long! So that puts her 100% for height and 75% for weight. She is now eating rice cereals and pureed foods. She likes just about everything so far :) Peas, carrots, squash, pears, and bananas.
The kids are keeping me really busy and longing for some ME time and girlfriend time! But again, what's a Mommy to do? lol
